The Pregnant Pause
The Pregnant Pause is a way of increasing public awareness of the dangers of drinking during pregnancy. Please come join us!!!
Denver Location: WHEN: September 9 at 9:09 PM. Please arrive by 8:45 WHERE: At the 16th Street Mall and Lawrence St in Denver Colorado Springs Location WHEN: September 9 at 9:09 AM. Please arrive by 8:45 WHERE: Alamo Square Park, 215 S Tejon WHAT: Wear a T-shirt with a balloon under it. Freeze in place for 9 Minutes in an interesting pose. Please be aware of hazards such as the bus lanes at the Denver location when posing. (Balloons will be available at the event) WHY: Demonstrate that it’s important to “Pause” drinking for 9 Months during pregnancy T-SHIRTS: Please RSVP to ebisgard@msn.com or 303-654-3246 by August 26 to let us know how many T-shirts to get. We will provide T-Shirts for the 1st 100 who RSVP. After that, they will be $6 per shirt. Donations would be greatly appreciated to help others who may not be able to afford the shirts. You can also participate without a special t-shirt
